Expression II · The Intensive

FINISH 90

The Discipline of Beginning Again. Ninety consecutive days. Six daily commitments — one for each letter of FINISH. Miss one, and you begin again at Day 1. Not as punishment. As practice.

F · Physical Stewardship

Fitness

Two 45-minute workouts, every day. One outdoors — and unplugged. Nothing in your ears but your own thoughts and God’s.

I · The Honest Record

Integrity

Each night, the day’s entry and one progress photo. The photo tracks the body; the entry tracks the soul.

N · Metabolic Stewardship

Nutrition

A diet of your choosing, held. No cheat meals. No alcohol. Water by a real measure, figured once and kept every day.

I · Relational Stewardship

Intimacy

Pursue the people God has entrusted to you — phone down, fully present. The measure is did I pursue them well today, not how they responded.

S · Spiritual Stewardship

Scripture

Prayer and the Word, every day. Set your standard before Day 1 — so eleven o’clock at night has no vote.

H · Mental Stewardship

Hone

Ten pages of a book that builds — not the noise of the feed. Reading sharpens the mind the way a stone sharpens a blade.

The Weekly Rhythm

Six days, then rest

The six pillars run every day. Laid over them is a rhythm as old as creation itself — six days of work and one of rest. A plan that forbids rest is not more devoted. It is only incomplete.

Sabbath

One day each week, the pace breaks. Fitness softens to a single restorative walk, and the day re-centers on rest, worship, and people. Rest is not the leak in the plan. It is the point.

The Fast

One deliberate fast each week — a meal, or a day, your choosing — offered quietly. Not a diet hack. A way of putting the body under the spirit for a few honest hours.

The Table

One meal each week eaten unhurried, with someone — family, a friend, a guest at your table. The fast empties; the table fills. Both are nutrition the scale cannot read.

The Standard

All six. Every day.

Five of six is a day missed. Miss anything, and you begin again at Day 1 — not as punishment, as practice. No substitutions: the outdoor workout stays outdoors, the water number stays the number. You answer to the standard, not the mood.

  • F — Two 45-min workouts, one outdoors, unplugged
  • I — Entry complete, progress photo taken
  • N — Diet held · no alcohol · water goal met
  • I — Pursued my people well today
  • S — Prayer and Scripture
  • H — Ten pages read

And underneath the standard, the doctrine that holds it all: the restart is not the punishment. The restart is the grace. None of us keeps it perfectly. We are devoted, and we falter, and we return. The streak measures your days; the page measures your heart.

Do not run this alone. Before Day 1, you name the people who will run it beside you — and how you’ll check in, daily.
